My team grew Pinterest from an unprofitable channel to being one of the top advertisers on Pinterest from a performance standpoint.  We have surpassed the 1% CTR benchmark countless times, hitting 2% on some creatives. We tested various types of messaging (specifically straightforward vs. a clever, witty TOV) and have consistently seen aspirational, witty copy perform better.
